When my characters surprise me: tapping into a muse

One of the things I love in writing is – when I don’t have control over it. I know, it sounds strange, but many writers will know what I am talking about. At times, things in your story happen without your control, even though you are the author and you should have the control. But at times - you don’t. And that’s good! Even though it sounds schizophrenic ;-) Because to be quite honest, it’s authentic. And when I say authentic, I mean human authentic. AI may learn algorithms and may be able to plot a story, but this is something no AI will be able to do: tapping into a muse. https://youtu.be/rNezEhw4WhU
