## 2. What information is collected?
Depending on how you use this website, the following information may be collected:
- your name, email address and the contents of messages you send through the contact form;
- your email address and subscription information when you join the newsletter;
- your name, billing and delivery address, email address, order details and purchase history when you place an order;
- information you provide for a signature or personal dedication;
- payment and transaction information processed by the selected payment provider;
- technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, date and time of access, pages visited and cookie identifiers; and
- any other information you choose to provide when communicating with Tara Jade Brown.
Please do not provide sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary.

## 4. Orders and payments
When you place an order, the information needed to process and deliver it is collected through Wix Stores. Payments are processed through Wix Payments and the payment method you select at checkout, which may include credit or debit cards, TWINT, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay or other methods displayed at the time of purchase.
Tara Jade Brown does not receive or store your complete card number. Payment providers process payment data under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
Order information is used only as necessary to complete the purchase, provide customer service, meet legal obligations and protect legitimate business interests. Purchasing a book does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter.
## 5. Newsletter
The newsletter is managed using **Kit** (Kit, Inc.). If you subscribe, your email address, subscription status and related technical information are processed by Kit to deliver emails and manage subscriptions.
The newsletter may contain book news, new releases, behind-the-scenes material, special offers and other updates from Tara Jade Brown. Subscription is voluntary. Where used, a confirmation email may be sent to verify your address.
You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or by emailing tara@tarajadebrown.com. After unsubscribing, limited information may be retained on a suppression list to ensure that no further marketing emails are sent to that address.
## 6. Contact form and direct communication
If you contact Tara Jade Brown through the website or by email, the details you provide will be used to respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting communication. Messages may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or to protect legal interests.

This website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix provides the website, online shop, checkout, security, database and related technical services. Information may be stored through Wix’s data storage, databases and applications.
Personal data may be shared, only where necessary, with:
- Wix and Wix Payments;
- the payment provider selected at checkout;
- Kit for newsletter management;
- Swiss Post and other postal, courier, customs or fulfilment services needed to deliver an order;
- professional advisers, accountants or technical service providers where necessary; and
- public authorities where disclosure is required by law.
Service providers may process information for their own legally defined purposes as well as on behalf of Brown Dove, Tamara Brown. Their own privacy policies may therefore also apply.

Information may be anonymised rather than deleted where it can no longer identify an individual.
