# Wix Publication Checklist
1. Create four ordinary pages named **Privacy Policy**, **Terms & Conditions**, **Shipping & Returns**, and **Imprint / Legal Notice**.
2. Hide them from the main menu and link all four in the website footer.
3. Add links to the Terms, Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy at checkout where Wix permits.
4. Require customers to accept the Terms before placing an order if the Wix checkout setting is available in your plan and location.
5. Configure the Wix cookie banner so visitors can reject non-essential cookies as easily as they can accept them.
6. Link the Privacy Policy from the cookie banner and newsletter signup area.
7. Ensure the newsletter consent box is optional and unticked by default; purchasing must not automatically subscribe a customer.
8. Confirm that Kit uses an appropriate confirmation process and includes an unsubscribe link in every marketing email.
9. Check that the shipping tiers shown at checkout match the published regions and weight bands.
10. Test checkout from each region before launch, including the displayed currency, shipping cost, Terms link and customs wording.
11. Save evidence of the Terms version accepted with each order where Wix makes this available.
12. Review these pages before adding analytics, advertising pixels, customer accounts, a new fulfilment provider, free shipping, digital sales or new sales regions.
