SHORT EXCERPT
In Chapter 15, Kathryn and Johann talk properly for the first time, and I love their interaction. You will hear many authors say that their characters took the matters in their own hands and they (the writer) just needed to type fast. That is what I did. And I absolutely loved seeing their interaction unfold, just as you will when you first read it.

HISTORY BEHIND THE FICTION
The Witch of Rose City required an enormous amount of research. And although I am dealing with some fantastical and paranormal aspects in the story, I wanted the world around my fiction protagonists to be as close as possible to the real 1730 Switzerland. Some of the following characters that appear on or off "screen" in The Witch of Rose City are real historical figures, that needed to be intertwined with my fictional characters.
