Book no.2: A surprise visit

It’s Friday night. I’m in my bed, tired. Must be close to midnight. Eyes closed. I want to sleep. In my mind there is a scene running. It goes on and on. I think: “Fine, I’ll remember it. Now let me sleep! “ It still goes on, and on, and on. Ahgrrr! Alright, alright! I get up, turn on the light, and grab my MacBook that lives happily next to my bed. I start writing. And I write and write. It’s almost 2 AM now. More then 2000 words. Good! I’ve written the scene in my mind, and I’m happy. I save it and switch off the computer. I lie down and close my eyes. Everything should be perfect, except - that it’s not. This is a different time, these are different characters, this is a different book!   So, spent the weekend writing the new story line for the Book no. 2. Not finished, but going well, I think. However, I’d like to make a promise here (which is mainly meant for me:) ) I will not start writing Book no. 3 until one of these two is published.   Really, really!
